Fabulous Future

There's no way to know for certain what may come next on your journey. But I've learned, or am continuing to learn, that waiting on The Lord is the best way to ensure that your journey is what it is supposed to be.

As I prepare to conclude my collegiate career, I simultaneously begin my search for a full time career. I've been desperately sending in all kinds of applications to several different companies and firms and seeing very few results. I couldn't help but seek out any and every opportunity because everyone expected me to have the bag secured already. And everyone else around me seemed to have their bag secured too, so where was my full time job offer?

I realized that I allowed the spirit of comparison to get the best of me. So, I Let Go and Let God-- shameless plug to last week's post ;) My proof that being patient and letting God work actually works is that I have two interviews coming up that appear to be very promising.

Whether or not the interviews result in a full time job, I know that God has something greater prepared for me. I know that my future is fabulous and fulfilling. I do my best every single day to not worry. Since the beginning of The Journey Journal, I've definitely felt less stressed about what will or won't happen come May. This blog has helped me to channel my energy to good things, to things that are positive, to things that prepare me in more ways than one.

I am grateful to God for giving me this gift and I just hope that my reach and my impact is doing what God has intended-- because this work is definitely transforming me. Beautiful Soul Sisters, if you are feeling lost or unsure, uninspired or unmotivated, be empowered by God's love for you. He has perfect plans for you, He has a fabulous future in store for you. Just keep pushing toward the mark and remember that your journey toward becoming is never done, God always has something greater for you.

Happy Journey,

xoxo-- Jess
